Voter’s approved Mattituck-Laurel Library’s proposed $1.37 million budget Tuesday night.
The 2016 budget passed by a 62-7 vote and carries a 1.55 percent increase over the current spending plan. The budget maintains current programs and includes increases to health care costs. The estimated additional tax cost for next year is about $7.12 for the average household, according to the library’s fall newsletter.
